New Commercial Director
Following the appointment of Mark Jervis as the new Managing Director of INS, we are pleased to announce the appointment of John Edwards as Commercial Director of INS. John has vast experience working in the MOX commercial area and has previously spent over 3 years as President of INS Japan, before returning to the UK in 2006. He is currently Head of MOX and Transport Commercial and will take up his new role on the I June.

End of an era for the Pacific Teal
One of the Pacific Nuclear Transport Limited (PNTL) fleet of ships used for transporting nuclear fuel between the UK and Japan has been taken out of service and sent for recycling.

INS Achieve Major Milestone in Safety Performance
INS has achieved a full 12 months without a Days Away Case, giving us a Days Away Case Rate (DACR) of zero. DACR is a measure defined by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and has been adopted across the BNFL Group as the primary measure of conventional safety performance.
