Overseas Academics visit INS Marine Terminal

INS Commercial Manager, Ian Speed, visitors & INS Operations Director, Alastair Brown

Representatives from New Zealand and Japan recently visited INS' dedicated Marine Terminal at Barrow-in-Furness, UK.

The purpose of the visit was to view INS' transport capability in relation to shipments of nuclear materials from Europe to Japan, as part of a visit to other European nuclear facilities including the Sellafield site. INS Commercial Manager, Ian Speed, accompanied the party throughout the UK part of the visit.

In thanking all involved Mr Walsh, General Manager at Acumen Republic (a corporate and marketing communication organisation in NZ), described it as "an excellently organised, highly informative, interesting, stimulating and useful trip."
