Evaporator D module delivery commences

Two modules are delivered to Sellafield Site

The completion of the UK’s largest current nuclear project, Evaporator D, has moved a stage nearer with the successful completion of the first of the module delivery stages required for this impressive project at Sellafield.

Work on the Evaporator D project is due to be completed in 2014. It will provide additional capacity to support Sellafield’s existing evaporators, which continue to play a pivotal role in the delivery of nuclear fuel reprocessing contracts.

As a subsidiary of the NDA, International Nuclear Services (INS) manages a large portfolio of UK and international contracts for nuclear fuel recycling and transport services on behalf of the NDA.
