INS hosts a visit from the China Nuclear Power Engineering Co Ltd.
INS recently hosted a three day visit by a delegation from the China Nuclear Power Engineering Co Ltd (CNPE), a subsidiary of the China National Nuclear Corporation.
The delegation was on a fact-finding mission, to gain an insight into INS' and Sellafield Ltd's extensive nuclear fuel cycle capabilities and experience, and to view at first hand some of the facilities at Sellafield.
The delegation reported that their visit had surpassed all expectations, and that they were especially pleased by the warm welcome that they had received from INS and from Sellafield Ltd officials. The visit concluded with an evening banquet in CNPE's honour, hosted by INS.
