Successful Material Test Reactor (MTR) shipment

INS has recently completed a shipment of MTR material from Japan to the United States, working in conjunction with an accredited charter shipping company.

INS was entrusted to manage all of the shipping arrangements between Japan and the US. Despite some initial delay due to severe weather conditions in the area surrounding Japan, the shipment was safely and successfully completed in January.

Such shipments reinforce the UK and INS's capability to support the safe and secure transport of specialist nuclear materials.
