INS Achieve Major Milestone in Safety Performance
INS has achieved a full 12 months without a Days Away Case, giving us a Days Away Case Rate (DACR) of zero. DACR is a measure defined by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and has been adopted across the BNFL Group as the primary measure of conventional safety performance.
This is the first time that INS as a whole, including PNTL shipping operations and marine terminal operations, has achieved this exceptional level of performance and is a reflection of the improving safety culture in the organisation.
